ViPR 2.1 - Create a Secret Key to Access ViPR Object Storage

Object store clients can authenticate a user within a tenant by supplying the user's domain credentials and then requesting an object access key. In addition, ViPR provides a self-service capability that allows users to log in at the ViPR UI and request an object access key that they can subsequently use to authenticate their requests.Back to Top
To generate an object access key for a user, use one of these three methods:
- From the
- Select from the UserId drop-down, at the top-right of the control bar.
- Select Add.
- Call the following CLI operation:
viprcli secretkeyuser add -uid <username from LDAP or AD>
- Call this ViPR REST API.
