Version 2.1, Draft 3 -- final
This draft represents the next revision of PKCS #11 standard. It includes the following enhancements over version 2.1 proposed draft 2:
- KEA mechanism description updates
- modification of secondary authentication text to remove protected path requirements
- new mechanism types
The following is a detailed list of each set of edits to the version 2.1 proposed draft 2 document included in the proposed draft.
- Updates to the KEA algorithms based on submissions from Niel Ziring
- Comments at the PKCS workshop indicated that vendors wanted to be able to do secondary authentication without using a protected path. The text was changed to remove explicit references to a protected path, and to allow software PIN collection.
- Addition of PKCS #1 RSA PSS signatures
