EMC Supplier Code of Conduct

EMC Corporation is committed to working with its suppliers to develop and maintain a sustainable supply chain. While all suppliers are required to comply with applicable international and domestic laws and regulations, EMC also expects suppliers to conduct their business relationships with EMC with the same professional and ethical standards that EMC requires of its employees.

EMC has fully adopted the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) Code of Conduct. The EICC Code of Conduct establishes standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business operations are environmentally responsible. It establishes standards in the following five areas:

  • Labor
  • Health & Safety
  • Environment
  • Ethics
  • Management Systems

EMC expects all suppliers to abide by the Code and to expect the same of their suppliers. We actively monitor suppliers’ performance against the Code as a means to promote sound business practices across EMC’s extended supply chain.
