Apophis is a Trojan family virus that comes with keyloggers and grabbing modules, socks/proxy function, encrypted communication, and rootkit function. It has its own software control panel to keep tabs on infected computers and botnet size. Apophis targets a long list of entities, including e-Gold, eBay, CareerBuilder, US based banks and more. It is currently sold in the underground for as much as $7,000 for a so-called "User License."
