EMC Isilon Scale-out NAS Solutions for Virtualization address these challenges with highly scalable, available, and easily managed network-attached storage (NAS) designed to consolidate services and simplify tier-three and tier-four file storage for virtualized environments.
EMC Isilon scale-out NAS supports virtualized server infrastructure with a self-managing and provisioning consolidated storage environment. EMC Isilon solutions are scalable to over 15 petabytes of capacity and 100 gigabytes per second of throughput.
EMC Isilon storage is simple to install, manage, and scale at virtually any size. To further simplify storage management, Isilon provides enhanced integration with VMware vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) and VMware vSphere APIs for Storage Awareness (VASA).
Virtual and Physical File Storage
Isilon scale-out NAS serves the requirements of many types of unstructured data, consolidating both virtualized and nonvirtualized file storage into one easy-to-use storage pool with a single point of management.
