EMC Documentum Advanced Document Transformation Services extends the capabilities of EMC Documentum Document Transformation Services by providing additional PDF rendering for multi-page TIFF, AutoCAD 2002, Microsoft Visio and Project. Documentum Advanced Document Transformation Services also provides additional format and metadata extraction support—a necessity for content authors who use advanced features such as template styles, hyperlinks, and URLs in their source documents and wish to preserve these features in their PDF documents.

PDF assembly	Merge multiple files of varying formats into a single PDF with the ability to auto-generate a table of contents.
PDF manipulation	Quickly modify security settings, apply watermarks or content overlays, or optimize existing PDF content for the web with predefined, configurable transformations.
E-mail to PDF support	Transform message-type definition (MSG) and ecological metadata language (EML) files to PDFs or rich text format (RTF).
Thumbnail/storyboard support	Automatically generate low-resolution images of content for a visual snapshot without exporting.
Hyperlink and bookmark support	Leverage the styles, bookmarks, and hyperlinks contained in files and create bookmarks and hyperlinks within the PDF output.
PDF attachments	Embed PDF conversions as attachments that are displayed in the attachments tab of Adobe Reader.
XMP round-tripping	Extract extensible metadata platform (XMP) attributes on check-in and index them for searching and categorization.
