EMC Velocity Solution Provider Program Overview

EMC is focused on ensuring that our reseller partners deliver best-in-class EMC products and solutions to meet the breadth and depth of customer IT challenges. The EMC Velocity Solution Provider Program is designed to foster customer specialization while rewarding partners through increased revenue opportunities and expanded market penetration.

The program consists of four tiers—Affiliate, Affiliate Elite, Premier, and Signature—with benefits and rewards that increase based on revenue, training, and specialty achievements.

Velocity Specialties

Partners achieve specialty designations through EMC's comprehensive advanced sales and technical training. Having a specialty designation provides partners with the advanced competencies needed to architect and sell end-to-end solutions.

Each specialty is focused on a product category: information protection (Backup and Recovery Specialty), unified storage (Consolidate Specialty), and enterprise storage (Advanced Consolidate Specialty).

Partner Development

Training and Development are critical components of the Velocity Solution Provider Program. It's crucial for partners to develop the sales and technical skills necessary to be successful in the marketplace, and Velocity includes a clear path to help you become an expert. For new affiliate partners, EMC provides free training through the Velocity Affiliate Enablement Center.
