EMC is offering a one-time opportunity to reduce your total cost of ownership (TCO) by lowering costly maintenance fees associated with your existing backup software as well as quickly and non-disruptively replacing your existing backup infrastructure with EMC Legato backup products.

2. Who can participate in the program?
Customers with significant backup software installations and high maintenance costs are welcome to participate in the program.

3. Has anyone else migrated to EMC?
Yes, join the over 150 customers that have made the switch to EMC storage software solutions within the last 9 months.

4. What competitive backup products does the migration service apply to?
All third-party backup software including:

6. How do I fulfill proof of purchase?
Simply provide us with copies of purchase orders, invoices, or product license certificates.

7. What is the migration service process?
EMC Safe Swap provides a two-day migration service during which EMC deploys software to extract catalogs from your legacy backup environment and create a consolidated catalog repository. We then train you on using EMC Safe Swap software to manage your archive and do non-native data restore from the archive.

8. How long will it take me before I can let my maintenance expire?
At the end of the two-day migration service, you'll no longer be dependent on your legacy backup software and can allow your maintenance to expire and proceed deploying your new EMC storage software environment.

9. How do I get started?
