Peer2Peer Sessions

Call for Facilitators for Peer2Peer sessions is open now. The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 6th.

Have a security issue you would like to discuss with your peers?  Want to share your experiences with a new technology? Care to explore best practices with colleagues?  Then submit a P2P session!

Peer2Peer sessions are limited to 25 people who share a common interest and want to discuss or learn more about a particular security issue. The sessions are interactive and moderated by someone who knows the subject at hand and also can keep the conversation flowing. No PowerPoint allowed!

If you’re selected as a P2P session facilitator, you will receive a Delegate pass which includes Conference keynote sessions, track sessions, the Exposition and special evening events, including the annual Codebreakers Bash.

If you have expertise or a burning issue that you struggled with and won – submit a topic for the RSA Conference 2010 Peer2Peer program.

Tips for Submission

A P2P session facilitator is an expert in a security topic area and has the ability to moderate contributions from the entire group (maximum 25).

A P2P session is NOT a presentation. Submissions that “repackage” a speaker submission will not be accepted. The topic and abstract should ask a question or frame a discussion for the participants.

The session topic should be relevant to our attendees and can cover a wide range including discussions of best practices, current security challenges, new technologies or other top of mind issues for security professionals. A facilitator could lead a case study discussion around a security challenge or war story.

In order to ensure that the P2P sessions are moderated discussions, we ask that you describe your experience facilitating sessions. In addition to having led P2P sessions at previous RSA Conferences, other conferences or training programs, experience could include leading a project, facilitating brain storming sessions or other activities in your work environment.
