10:45am
Redefine Data Protection
Today’s IT landscape spans physical to virtual, on premise to cloud, Platform 1 to Platform 3 and everything in between. The only constant is the data. Data protection has never been more important as business transforms across this shifting landscape. Regardless of how much data you have, what applications are creating it or where it resides, all data needs protection. EMC sets the stage for this new data protection reality, one that demands increased user control and visibility, a protection continuum and “as a service” consumption models. Hear how EMC data protection and availability solutions including Avamar, Data Domain, NetWorker, RecoverPoint, VPLEX and more are meeting these requirements.
EMC Big Data: The Path to a Data-Driven Enterprise
The path to competitive advantage is being able to make predictions from Big Data. Therefore, the more you can build predictive analytics into your business processes, the more data driven and successful your organization will become. Organizations must first identify ripe use cases for Big Data and build out a roadmap for business transformation. Organizations must then take a low risk, best-of-breed approach to quickly transform from a rigid, siloed infrastructure to modern, agile one. In addition to technology, organizations must develop the skills and organizational processes necessary to adopt Big Data and become data-driven.
Third Platform Applications: Redefining Workloads and Infrastructure
Third Platform is the convergence of technologies that is changing the way people and business interact with technology. It is also driving the core strategies of the EMC Federation (EMC, Pivotal, VMware and RSA) and the solutions we are offering customers. Attend this session to find out how EMC will help customers make the leap from Second to Third Platform.
Redefine Storage: EMC Storage Strategy
Over the past 30 years, as we have transitioned from the mainframe era to the internet era to the recent birth of cloud computing and the explosion of mobile devices, we have seen the number of applications grow from thousands to many millions. This explosion of new and ever diversifying workloads has driven significant innovation in the storage industry. In this session we will examine how EMC’s Storage Strategy has been driven by these market forces. After this session, you will be able to rapidly differentiate between storage offerings from any vendor and have a better understanding on how to match the right EMC storage product for your datacenter.
Cloud Infrastructure Redefined: Delivering "Anything-as-a-Service"
The era of the 3rd Platform is upon us—so how can you capitalize on the massive opportunity it represents? Learn how we're redefining cloud infrastructure to optimize your data center for the 3rd platform, while serving the continuing needs of the 2nd. EMC is making “Anything-as-a-Service” possible with Converged Infrastructure and EMC’s hybrid cloud solutions, so you can serve the needs of your business today – and tomorrow. Learn how you can drive greater business value by empowering on-demand, self-service capabilities to your end-users. With agility, efficiency, security, and control, redefine your own success in this new era of opportunity.

Cisco: Enabling Fast IT
The data center is fundamentally changing. We are now in the midst of the next major inflection point in IT, new applications and cloud computing are placing new demands on IT infrastructure. IT infrastructure needs to be capable of quickly responding to dynamic business priorities and changing market conditions. Customers require an IT infrastructure that brings the scale, agility, and mission-critical availability the business demands, both today and tomorrow. Hence, the industry is witnessing a movement to integrated infrastructures to respond to these new applications and on-demand requirements. Come learn how Cisco, EMC and VCE are addressing this new inflection point with integrated and converged infrastructures, featuring Cisco UCS Integrated Infrastructure. UCS. Cisco, EMC and VCE are defining and delivering on the New Model of IT by offering unmatched choice, better operational efficiency, and accelerated application deployment so you can spend less and innovate more.
VMware: Extend Your Data Center to the Public Cloud with VMware vCloud® Hybrid Service™
EMC and VMware have partnered to help organizations like yours realize the value of cloud computing.  Together, we bring leading technology and services that can be delivered via private, public or hybrid deployment models.  In this session, we will focus on practical use cases for extending private data centers to the public cloud with VMware vCloud Hybrid Service.  This hybrid Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) approach enables you to write applications once and deploy them anywhere without rewriting or reconfiguring to fit a particular environment.  Attend this session and gain insight into practical approaches to leveraging cloud-based infrastructure, migrating applications, expanding disaster recovery cost-effectively and accelerating innovation by extending your data center to the cloud.

2:00pm
How Intelligence-Driven Security Solutions Redefine the Threat Landscape
This presentation dives into the technical details of an intelligence-driven platform for security and explains how best to respond to the latest and most persistent threats. Security teams today need four things to gain the upper hand and be better positioned to protect against attacks as well as respond quickly when incidents occur:
• Better visibility: see everything happening from networks to servers, applications and endpoints.
• More contextual data and analytics: prioritize issues more effectively and concentrate resources on issues that have the most impact
• Actionable intelligence from diverse sources, both internal and external: help security teams find what to look for in a more automated way and respond more quickly
• Scalable architecture: support new data sources, applications, and analytic approaches

Our customers' applications demand architecture choice; this session looks at Flash across EMC business units, with demonstrations highlighting the advantages of a Hybrid All Flash Array and a Purpose Built All Flash Array.
Optimizing Multi-Database and Application Environments with Private Cloud Computing
Over 90% of IT organizations today are running a combination of Oracle, Microsoft and SAP environments. Many CIOs are struggling with the high cost in infrastructure and management of separate IT infrastructure across these distinct application environments. This session will cover how private cloud computing with EMC can help IT organizations optimize infrastructure and operations in multi-database and application environments. Case studies and best practices will be outlined to help reduce IT infrastructure cost and improve productivity for application and IT infrastructure teams.
