The EMC Isilon OneFS operating system provides highly-resilient data protection through its FlexProtect feature, which offers advanced redundancy and availability capabilities. FlexProtect creates an n-way, scalable, redundant fabric, providing 100 percent data availability even with up to four node failures.
EMC Isilon SmartLock software adds a layer of security that guards your archived data against accidental or malicious alteration. SmartLock integrates with EMC Isilon SnapshotIQ for efficient backup and recovery and with EMC Isilon SyncIQ for data replication and disaster recovery protection over short or long distances.
